Leaseweb VPS Module installation for WISECP

This tutorial will show you how to successfully install and configure the Leaseweb VPS module for WISECP. We will guide and help you step by step through the whole process.

Obtaining API Key a. Login into Leaseweb Customer Portal b. Navigate to https://secure.leaseweb.com/api-client-management/ to obtain the API Key

Installing and Activating Module in WISECP

  1. Download the module from https://secure.whmcsmodule.net

  2. Extract and upload the LeasewebVPS folder to WISECP/coremio/modules/Servers

  3. First go to Services > Hosting Management > Server Settings

  4. Click on Add New Server

  5. In Next page

    a.  Hostname – Give any name you want for your convenient eg: LeasewebVPS NL
    b.  Server Automation Type – Select LeasewebVPS
    c.  IP Address – Give the region example for NL type Netherlands 
    d.  Username – Provide module license key obtained from WHMCSModule Networks
    e.  Password – Give anything
    f.  Access Hash – Give your API key obtained from the portal at https://secure.leaseweb.com/api-client-management/ , make sure you have given all GET/POST/DELETE/PUT permissions
    g.  Update Change/ Add Change – Once everything is set click on it to update/ add

Creating/ Modifying Packages

  1. Now navigate (Services -> Hosting Management -> Dedicated/VPS Packages -> And click on Create New Package or edit your packages)

  2. Navigate to Core tab and select Single Server then from drop down select the previously created server

    a.  Package Name – Give your required name
    b.  In Cores Tab – 
    i.  Location -  Select the package location
    ii. Disable Paid OS/ Panel – As you know leaseweb charges for cPanel etc better to select it

Importing and Assigning Existing servers to customer

  1. First go to Services > Hosting Management > Server Settings
  2. Click on Edit to the New Server added recently
  3. Click on Import tab and click on List Results to list down all the servers
  4. Here you see all the servers even you can assign them to your users

Note: As you know leaseweb API does not support VM create/ auto ordering you need to add the VM id obtained from Hostname section (as shown above image) and assign/ add to user’s order as shown below
