Activity Tweaks for WHMCS - Module Setup Guide

Requirements

1. WHMCS Version: 8.6 or higher
2. Module License: Valid License Key required
3. PHP Version: PHP 7.4 or PHP 8.1
4. IonCube Loader: IonCube Loader v12

Installation Guide

1. Extract Archive
   Download the <module>.zip file to your computer and extract the files using your preferred zip extraction program.

2. Upload Files
   Upload the modules folder directly into your root WHMCS directory.

3. Activate Module
   In your WHMCS admin area, navigate to Setup / System Settings → Addon Modules and click Activate next to Activity Tweaks for WHMCS.

4. Configure License
   Click the Configure button for Activity Tweaks for WHMCS and enter your License Key.

5. Set Access Control
   Grant Access Control permissions as needed for your admin role groups and save the settings.

6. Configure Admin Settings
   Navigate to Addons → Activity Tweaks for WHMCS and select the Admin user who will receive email notifications along with your desired options.

7. Enable Encoded File Loading
   It is strongly advised to enable file auto-loading:

   • Go to System Settings → General Settings
   • Select the Other tab
   • Under Encoded File Loading, check "Attempt to load all files"
   • Click Save Changes

8. Installation Complete!

How to Setup Random Signatures

1. Define Signatures
   Navigate to Addons → Activity Tweaks → Random Signature.
   In the text area, enter your desired signature titles separated by commas (e.g., Support,Sales).

2. Update Admin Account Name
   Go to My Account (click your Avatar in the top right → My Account).
   Change your First Name and Last Name to a generic department name (e.g., First Name: Technical, Last Name: Support).

3. Add Signature Template
   In the Signature field of your account settings, format your signature using the [RandomSign] placeholder:

   Best Regards,
   [RandomSign]
   Your Company Name

IMPORTANT

4. Do not alter the [RandomSign] tag, or the dynamic signature replacement will not function properly.
5. Save your account settings. Random signatures are now configured and active!
